I was once a kid, but now I’m all grown up, and I wish I was a kid again. This is how most adults between the ages of 30 and 33 feel. Most adults between the ages of 30 and 33 are wondering the following things:
Is this all there is to life? How do I get more out of it?
Why are the bills piling up and becoming a never ending cycle of money flowing out of my home? How can I get control of my credit cards?
Is it too late to move back with my parents and start over again?
You may also wonder why you need more sleep and gain more weight. All of these things are called adulting. To be a proper adult between the ages of 30 and 33, you need to do the following things.
First, complain about being tired all the time. Have coffee more than once a day, and then wonder why you’re still sleepy.
Second, admire cars that are nicer than yours, but feel hopeful that you’ll have a truly awesome car one day. You should do this until you reach 45 and then give up.
Third, eat trashy, junk foods even though it’s part of the reason that you are tired, and then complain some more about being tired.
Fourth, look periodically for a better job, and try and figure out the exact amount you’ll make if you get a raise.
Finally, calculate the exact amount of hours you’ll get if you go to bed now. It’s midnight. You have to wake up at 6. You’re going to be tired tomorrow.
